Asplenium scolopendrium angustifolium (Hart’s Tongue Fern)

Blechnum spicant (Hard Fern)

As they age the feathery, dark green fronds of this handsome, evergreen ‘hard fern’ spread semi-horizontally to form an attractive, rosette-like shape. One of our recommended varieties, it provides all-year interest for shady areas of the garden and companionship for shade-loving, woodland plants, it also copes well in dry shade.

Prefers part shade / full shade and a moist but free draining soil.

Erysimum ‘Apricot Twist’

A compact, bushy, often short-lived, evergreen perennial with linear to lance-shaped, dark grey-green leaves and, from spring to late summer, dense racemes of fragrant, orange flowers which bees adore.

We also stock ‘Poem Lavender’, ‘Bowles Mauve’ & ‘Poem Lilac’.

Prefers full sun / part shadde and a free draining soil.

Euphorbia ‘Portugese Velvet’

This succulent perennial/ subshrub has grey-green foliage that is covered with soft velvety hairs and is excellent ground cover. It is attractive year-round and in late spring and early summer, the flower heads form at the branch tips covering the plant with a chartreuse colour.

We also stock ‘Baby Charm’.

Iberis ‘Whiteout’

This evergreen groundcover perennial will produce a bountiful display of snowy white blooms, that are accompanied by deep green foliage. Both the flowers and foliage are fragrant, and will look striking in both borders, rockeries and along path edges.

Stachys ‘Silver Carpet’

This low-growing, evergreen perennial forms rosettes of silver, greyish white leaves which are extremely soft to the touch and provide an attractive, weed suppressing carpet for much of the year. This variety of lamb’s ears rarely flowers and is an excellent, drought-tolerant groundcover or edging plant. The foliage is a more intense shade of silver than flowering varieties.

Prefers full sun in a free draining soil.

This easy to grow perennial forms rosettes of evergreen, lance-shaped, mid-green leaves with prominent central vein. Erect stems with very large, fringed, lavender-blue cornflower-like flowers are produced in late summer and are a stunning addition to the border.

Trachleospermum jasminoides

This is a woody, evergreen, twining climber with rich, dark green leaves which turn bronze in winter. From mid- to late summer, pure white, fragrant flowers are produced in clusters. Plant where you can enjoy the lovely perfume!
