Sisyrinchium biscutella

A beautiful addition to any garden, this small perennial has thin dark green strap like leaves and stunning bronze veined purple star like flowers from spring to autumn. They open and close according to the sunlight, awakening in the morning and closing at night. Excellent in beds, borders and containers.

Stachys ‘Silver Carpet’

This low-growing, evergreen perennial forms rosettes of silver, greyish white leaves which are extremely soft to the touch and provide an attractive, weed suppressing carpet for much of the year. This variety of lamb’s ears rarely flowers and is an excellent, drought-tolerant groundcover or edging plant. The foliage is a more intense shade of silver than flowering varieties.

Prefers full sun in a free draining soil.

Thalictrum ‘Hewitt’s Double’

This perennial is one of the easiest plants to grow and may be left undisturbed for years, adding a calming, airy, informal mood to your garden. Multiple, tall stems sway in the breeze holding many frothy-looking flowers which seem to float, providing long lasting summer colour above the pretty, bubbly-looking aquilegia-like foliage. Trollius ‘Golden Queen’

Bright orange early summer flowers with yellow centres and deeply divided mid green leaves. These cheery, buttercup-like flowers are perfect for the middle of a moist border or for planting at the margins of a pond or stream. To prevent the roots from drying out apply a thick mulch layer around the base of the plant in early spring.
