Cercisdiphyllum ‘Red Fox’

This is a striking small to medium size tree, initially with a columnar crown that becomes a narrow oval after some years. The perfect choice for changing interest as its beautiful heart-shaped leaves change colour from spring through to autumn. Deep purple foliage in spring matures to a rich green-blue colour by summer. Leaves glow yellow and gold before falling in autumn, releasing a pleasantly spicy/cinnamon scent. 

Prefers full sun / part shade in a free draining soil. Does not like a strong wind.
