Commelina tuberosa

 A beautiful and vigorous perennial, noted for it’s numerous true-blue flowers in late summer. These unfurl from pods which contain a number of flowers and each flower lasts only a day, looking at their best in the morning. Something unusual for s sunny spot!

Prefers full sun / part shade and free draining soil.
