The foliage and flowers of this herbaceous, woodland perennial are sweetly aromatic with the flowers highly attractive to pollinators, so it’s a great plant for a wildlife garden in shadier spots. The bicoloured flowers that are white and a lovely plum purple, appear in early summer.

Prefers part / dappled shade in a moist but free draining soil.
