Pennisetum ‘Red Head’
Smoky, dark red, bottlebrush flowers that resemble foxtails, emerge in mid to to late summer, turning brown in autumn and often lasting through winter. This is a clump-forming perennial grass with gracefully arching narrow green leaves. Deep green in summer, the foliage turns gold in autumn and buff in winter. Great in a mixed border with late flowering perennials.
Prefers full sun and a free draining soil.
