Hydrangea ‘Dolce Chic’

This new variety has a compact habit with firm flowers on strong stems, changing colour throughout the season. The dark pink flowers open in summer with the yellow at the centre becoming more pink as the season continues. Good as a cut flower.

We also stock ‘Bella Pesche’, ‘Ruby’, ‘Blue Wave’ and ‘Little Spooky’.

Prefers part shade in a moist, free draining soil.

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Kyushu’

This lovely Hydrangea is noted for its shiny leaves and its medium size. The panicles of flowers are not large but are abundant and appear from mid summer into autumn. Individual panicles can measure up to eight inches. Because this graceful shrub is not tall but upright, it is an excellent candidate for a smaller garden.

Hydrangea petiolaris

A star plant, this climbing hydrangea thrives in some of the most shady, inhospitable areas of the garden. Slow to establish, it will eventually romp along a wall or fence, clinging by aerial roots. Its almost heart-shaped, dark green leaves turn yellow in autumn, and masses of showy, lacy, white flowerheads appear in late spring and early summer.

Prefers part shade / full shade and does well in most soils.

Ipheion ‘Charlotte Bishop’

A new pink form of this easy to grow early spring flowering bulb. Petals almost bi-coloured, with a strong central deep pink stripe, fading to pale pink. Foliage has a pleasant onion fragrance. Not as vigorous as the blue form but looks very pretty in the front of the border, in patio pots & alpine troughs.

Iris ‘Pauline’

Providing a bright splash of colour in late winter and early spring, often when there is little else in bloom, these low-growing Iris are valuable additions to pots, window boxes, alpine beds and rockeries. They will also look very sweet when popping up at the front of a sunny border.
