Anagallis ‘Skylover’

Eye-catching vivid blue flowers appear almost non-stop from late spring to the first frosts on this neatly creeping plant. Easy to care for, requiring little or no deadheading, it can be used at the front of borders, on rockeries or drifted under spring-flowering shrubs and bulbs to extend the period of interest. With a neat and compact habit the slightly springy stems make this an ideal addition to pots, window boxes and even hanging baskets where the creeping stems can gently cascade over the edges. Best flowering in full sun though it will also tolerate some light shade.

Prefers full sun and a free draining soil.

Anemone ‘Harmony Series’

A reliable, bee-friendly perennial with large Poppy-like flowers. All of the colours in the series (Blue, Pink, Scarlet and White) have flowers with a beautiful dark centre and dead-heading will keep the plant flowering from early spring to mid summer when the attractive green lacy foliage provides the interest.

We also stock ‘Bordeaux’.

Anemone japonica ‘Honorine Jobert’

A fabulous perennial for brightening up the garden in late summer, and has masses of elegant, cup-shaped, white flowers on tall, wiry stems from late summer into autumn. The leaves are vine-like, dark green, and semi-evergreen. Perfect for lighting up a dark corner of the garden, or at the back of a herbaceous border.

We also stock ‘Splendens’,‘Whirlwind’, ‘Sylvestris’ and ‘Ruffled Swan’.

Pretty, lemon-yellow daisy-like flowers appear in a profuse display throughout the summer, above the finely cut, aromatic, mid-green leaves. This cheerful, long-flowering lemon-yellow marguerite will lift a sunny border and will flourish in poor, well-drained soils. It copes well with drought and the flowers are good for cutting.

This easy perennial bears sprays of small white flowers over a gold-green variegated evergreen foliage. It’s ideal for ground cover in rock gardens, bed edges, gravel beds and all containers with sedums and other alpines.

Aronia ‘Autumn Magic’

A slow growing deciduous shrub which is a great plant for year round interest in the small garden. In spring, it’s covered with attractive clusters of small white blooms, set off perfectly by deep-green waxy foliage. These are followed in summer by black fruits, which last well into winter. The foliage turns a smoky-red in the autumn.

Prefers full sun / part shade and does well in most soils.

Astilbe ‘Fanal’

Deep red, fluffy plumes appear above serrated, dark green leaves in early summer. This perennial is ideal for a bog garden or moist border, and will thrive in a clay soil as long as it is not allowed to dry out during the summer months. Although it can grow in drier soils, it does need to be in a shady spot.

We also stock ‘Sprite’ and ‘Weiss Gloria’.

Prefers part shade and a wet soil.
