This is a fantastic shrub with pure white, star-shaped blooms appearing in early spring from silky buds before the leaves shoot. The flowers are gently fragrant and occasionally they’re flushed with pink. Its compact habit makes it ideal for a small garden, in a sheltered position in sun or semi shade. It will eventually reach 3m in height and spread but is slow growing and can be pruned in summer to keep to the size required.It’s a real beauty and will grace any garden.
